Our brothers and sisters are dying everyday - Nigerians in Libya lament

Nigerians in Libya have expressed their fears as their fellow countrymen and women are dying under mysterious circumstances in the North African state.

According to reports, two young men died last week. Before that, a young woman identified as Tina and some others passed away.

A man identified as Yemi also took to a Facebook group to announce the death of another young Nigerian woman called Sukurat Blessing on June 29, 2021.

In reaction to the latest incidents, Nigerians have started lamenting over the deaths of their compatriots in the country.

"Chai oh God, the death toll in Libya now is something else. Our Nigerian brothers and sisters are dying every single day. What is really happening?" one Precious Osas Igbineweka, lamented.

"My legs are shivering also (frightened) Oh God please take us only when we are fully ready. That should be our prayer pls," she added.
