Nigerians gutted as a young Nigerian man is arrested for beheading his Ghanaian girlfriend

Nigerians have been reacting to reports from Ghana about a young Nigerian man who has been arrested for beheading a middle-aged woman at Spintex, a suburb of Accra.

A now-viral video shared on the Twitter handle of @sikaofficial showed the police hauling the suspect who was in handcuffs and had his face covered.

Some other officials of the Ghana Police Service were seen holding what appears to be the remains of the victim.

Media personality, Babs Cann in her post on Facebook wrote: "A young Nigerian man has been picked up by the Ghana Police Service for allegedly beheading his girlfriend at Spintex"

Onlookers can be heard weeping and wailing in the video as the victim was being moved by the police.

The Ghana Police Service is yet to comment on the matter.
