NANS-Ghana welcomes new High Commissioner H/E Admiral Rtd Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas

The leadership of NANS-Ghana led by the president, Comrade Onyebuchi Sheddy Akukwe and the vice president Fatai Quadri paid a courtesy visit to the new High Commissioner of Nigeria to Ghana - H/E Admiral (Rtd) Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas.

Also in attendance were the D.O.P Erondu Chidiebere Joshua, NSA president of Kings University College Onoriode Ejovwo, SRC President of kings University College Comrade Ifeanyi Kelvin, ISA president of Pentecost University College Comrade Grace Brawn, among others on a working visit to the Nigeria High Commission in Accra.

It was a warm reception by the commission and the meeting provided the forum for the High Commissioner to relate with the student leadership. He expressed his gladness at the good reports about the students across schools and charged the leadership of NANS-GH to continue to do more in ensuring unity and welfare of Nigerian students in Ghana. He also re-emphasized the commission's commitment to continue working with the union to ensure the organization's objectives are realized and the overall interest of Nigerians in Ghana are protected.

In my remarks, I appreciated the new High Commissioner and promised to alongside my team, work together in unison to realize the goals of our union by providing effective leadership to Nigerian students in Ghana and continue to consult the commission on important matters relating to Nigerian students.
