Just days after Pastor Adeboye warned men not to get married to a lady who cannot cook, his wife, Folu Adeboye, has advised parents to teach their children how to cook.

Pastor Adeboye sparked a debate on social media a few days ago when he tweeted:

“My sons, don’t marry a lady who cannot cook. She needs to know how to do chores and cook because you cannot afford to be eating out all the time.

“My sons, don’t marry a girl who is worldly. If you do, you have carried what you’ll worship for the rest of your life. Pastor E. A. Adeboye.”

He later advised ladies not to get married to a man who has no job.

He tweeted: "My beloved daughters, don’t marry a man who has no job"

His wife, Folu Adeboye, who addressed a congregation of women of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, advised them to teach their children how to cook.

She said, "As anointed women, we must teach our children to cook, they can’t keep eating at a restaurant every day of their life. Women teach your children to cook & eat at home, they can’t eat out all the time".

Her words were supported by Pastor Adeboye with a Bible verse which reads:

"She rises also while it is still night And gives food to her household And assigns tasks to her maids. Proverbs 31:15".
