Amotekun, best thing to happen in South West - Femi Fani-Kayode

Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, FFK, has described the Amotekun security outfit as the best thing to happen to the South West region of Nigeria in the last four years.

Operation Amotekun was set up by the 6 governors of South West in reaction to the killings and kidnappings by suspected Fulani herdsmen in the region.

Sharing his thought on the new development, Femi Fani-Kayode wrote:

"The Amotekun security outfit and initiative is the best thing that has happened to the South West states in the last four years".

He added by advising governors of other regions to imbibe the idea and implement it on their region.

"I commend the South West Governors and all those involved in its formation and establishment. I urge the Governors of the South South and the South East to do the same. Self-defence is the first law!", he said.
