Man's body found tied in Owerri workshop

The body of a 35-year-old man, Chibuike Azubuike, has been found tied hand and foot in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

Azubuike was found dead at his workshop at Egbu Road on Monday.

The deceased was a graduate of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri.

A neighbour said, “Azubuike opened a business outlet where he repaired footwear. He was found dead in the morning at his workshop with his legs tied and his hands tied to his back.”

Police spokesperson Orlando Ikeokwu said the incident was not reported at any police station.
