The chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has mocked former TV show co-host, Olajumoke Olawode-James, saying she frittered away her opportunity at TVC.

It all started after fashionista Noble Igwe slammed those criticizing Anthony Joshua for prostrating before Buhari when he came to present his belts to him.

Noble Igwe wrote: "Most of the people with a lot to say to Anthony Joshua will use their shirt to clean the floor given same opportunity. A president is a president regardless of the side of the bed you woke up,dear".

Olajumoke Olawode-James responded by hinting that the President ought to also recognize that Anthony Joshua holds a reputation in society.

She tweeted: "Very true. All of us should rever our leaders. Elected or selected. So, if Anthony is in awe of his President (as should be in a sane society); is his President also ignorant of how he became who he is? Where is our NATIONAL SHAME?".

Her post didn't sit well with Abike Dabiri-Erewa who pointed out that Olajumoke is find of displaying her dislike for Buhari.

She tweeted: "Sis Jumoke . Long time! Your dislike for anything @MBuhari is legendary . All are entitled to criticism , but yours is definitely more than meets the eye. I hope you will have the courage to contest elections and put into practice all you preach . Talk is cheap my sister"

Olajumoke responded by stating that her profession is journalism not politics, which is why she can't follow the given advice to contest for public office.

She responded: "Happy new year Aunty Abike. Long time! Hope the family is doing great? I am a JOURNALIST; not a Politician! If I don’t call out ABSURDITY for what it is, who will do the job of the FOURTH REALM? Have a successful 2020 ma! Pray you advise the President right this year".

In response, Abike mocked Olajumoke's claim of being a journalist by recalling how she was shown the exit door from the TV show she co-hosted.

She wrote: "Journalist ke?. Apart from TVC that gave you exposure and great opportunity you frittered away, I’m sure you ve not had any significant journalism exposure . But there is always room for training .Be bold.. Contest electioms. We need more women".
