Woman kills husband over telephone call to another woman

An enraged woman has reportedly sent her husband out of this world.

The woman, Queen Beatrice, allegedly killed Emmanuel Ikujuni at Omotosho town, in the Okitipupa Local government area of Ondo state.

The incident has also been confirmed by the Ondo State Police Command who said the woman in question has promptly be arrested.

According to Punch, the suspect allegedly hit the deceased head with a plank following an argument.

She was said to have accused her husband of calling another woman on phone in her presence.

After the deceased was hit with the plank, he was said to have collapsed. His neighbours rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was confirmed dead.

Speaking on his brother's death, the deceased’s sister, Imoleayo Ikujuni said:

“During the fight, she hit him with a plank and he died. The police have arrested her and the matter has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Akure, for further investigation.”

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Tee-Leo Ikoro, confirmed the incident, adding that investigation was ongoing.

Punch Metro learnt that the corpse had been deposited in a morgue for an autopsy.
