Traders protest, as SARS guns down seller in Ogun

Dozens of Hausa traders disrupted the smooth flow of traffic on the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway as they protested the death of one of them during an alleged shooting by Operatives of the Special Anti – Robbery Squad.

Choosing to go, rogue, the angry traders selling onions, pepper, tomatoes, yam, and fruits, smashed the operational vehicle of the Ogun State-owned Television broadcasting station and many other properties in sight.

MyNigeria.com gathered that the SARS operatives were said to have chased some suspected criminals towards the Olomore market and fired at them when they ran into the midst of the traders, touching – off the angry reactions.

As a result, they took to the expressway with bonfires, mounting them in various locations on the ever-busy road with support from the Lafenwa traders
