Economic activities in some parts of Nigeria have increased as the Muslims prepare to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha on Tuesday, July 19, 2021.

A rare occurrence, however, was at the ever-busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway where travellers were stranded as ram sellers displayed rams and cows in a last-minute rush for the festivities.

The Nations described the situation as "hellish" as commuters on the dual-carriage were stranded for hours at the Kara Market.

The economic activity affected Lagos-bound commuters and those travelling out of the city.
