The Lagos State Police Command has advised residents to be calm as security has been beefed up with the deployment of police patrol teams.

This was after areas like Iyana-Ipaja, Igando, Ikotun, Idimu, complained of incessant robbery attacks carried out during the lockdown period.

Also, Surulere residents cried out on social media after receiving a letter from a robbery gang, One Million Boys, threatening to attack them soon.

In reaction, the Lagos State Police Command announced: "The Police have received series of calls from residents in Idimu, Igando, Ikotun, etc, that the “one million boys” are planning to attack the communities. The Police responded with massive deployment of Police patrol teams to beef up security of the area."
