Fulanis are the most peaceful people to live with - Oluwo of Iwo

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi has said that Fulanis are the most peaceful people to live with.

The monarch made this known in a social media post in which he revealed that Fulanis are not the one behind the dastardly acts being attributed to them.

According to the Oluwo of Iwo, those behind the dastardly acts are Bororos who arrived in town after a monarch sold land to them.

He wrote:

"We live in peace with Fulani and I'm the largest host to Fulani in Osun state...I don't want no tribal sentiments but this is a memorandum of understanding made between one of the kings in my domain and Bororo people that he sold land to and they arrived with 5 trailer loads of Bororo and last week.... a Bororo machete a woman farmer to death...Bororo is not Fulanis Bororo are not Fulanis".

He added:

"Fulanis are the most peaceful people to live with, I even appoint chiefs as Seriki Fulani but Bororo are not Nigerians they are trouble makers and have their own dialect which is not pure Fulani... they are from Niger Republic though we call them Nigeriens".
