Cocoa trader commits suicide in Osun

A wealthy cocoa dealer, Olawale Festus, reportedly committed suicide in his cocoa store, causing confusion in the Oke-Ola area, Ayedaada local government in Osun State.

The 43-year-old, Olawale’s lifeless body was discovered on Friday, August 14, 2020 while dangling on the noose in his coco store at Gbongan.

Information gathered by the Daily Post showed that the father of four committed suicide after returning from an outing on Friday.

Nobody could ascertain the motive behind his action.

The Public Relations Officer of the Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident.

Opalola disclosed that some operatives had visited the scene and confirmed that the deceased hung himself in his cocoa shop and died.
