Former senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani stated that leaders who plan on ending the lockdown and returning people to work must be ready to take responsibility for such action.

Shehu Sani stated this in reaction to governments in the West who are considering ending the lockdown to enable people to return to work so as to save the country's economy.

He tweeted: "Some Governments in the West are desperate to end the Lockdown & return people to work using such phrases like ‘the virus has flattened’ or has ‘reached the plateau’.As long as there’s no vaccine yet, returning to work is a gamble Leaders must be ready to take responsibility".
