In a bid to enhance transportation in Lagos State, Mubak Trust and Assets Management Limited, has rolled out a new bus scheme known as the “First and Last Mile Bus Operation.”

In a statement, the Managing Director of the firm, Adeniyi Bakare, said the idea was developed to introduce innovations in the transport business.

Bakare said that ‘First and Last Mile Bus Operation’ was a variant from the regular Lagos transport system, which considered the nuances and idiosyncrasies of the city’s peculiar social-economic environment.

According to him, FMLM buses are convenient and designed with the Lagos traffic situation in mind.

“There is conformability and it will replace aging conventional buses in the state. We are calling on all stakeholders to take this window of opportunity offered by changes in government policies and support the current administration.”

He lauded the Lagos State Government for implementing policies that will reduce poverty in the state.

“This made us make a clarion call to stakeholders in the transportation sector to support and embrace the project,” Bakare asserted.

According to him, the public-private partnership remains an indispensable factor in the firm’s quest to help reduce unemployment in Lagos State.
