Who is the best Nigerian president of the fourth republic (1999 - date)?

Olusegun Obasanjo was the first democratically elected president of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo was the first democratically elected president of Nigeria

This is not a debate, however, I am certain this question will cast your mind to who has been more productive and assertive as Nigeria's Commander-In-Chief.

In my estimation, all four presidents; Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Yar'Adua, Goodluck Jonathan, and Muhammadu Buhari have failed woefully in this big Nigerian project.

Since the death of General Sani Abacha in 1998 and the introduction of democracy later on in 1999, the country has arguably retrogressed.

The obvious reason being the nature of corrupt leaders the country has produced over the years at every stage of its democratic process.

While some would have thought the death of Abacha will herald a new dawn in Nigeria and ensure equitable distribution of the countries wealth, citizens continue to wallow in poverty as insecurity and corruption persist.

The choice of who has served Nigeria to the best of their ability is left to you to decide.
