Wema Bank partners group to empower women

Wema Bank Plc has said it is partnering with SheCan Nigeria to organise a women empowerment workshop.

The bank said in a statement that the workshop would help women realise their potential and develop capabilities to achieve success.

It said, “The partnership between Wema Bank Plc and SheCan Nigeria in previous times has produced pieces of training and workshops where women have got support and mentorship in various areas such as tech, crafts, and education.

“This year’s edition of the SheCan conference, which will be both virtual and on-site, will drive a change in the culture and perception of women in today’s world.”

The Head, Marketing Communications and Investor Relations, Wema Bank, Funmilayo Falola, said, “This year, the conference will address the changing needs and growing demands of today’s world."
