Union Diagnostic and Clinical Services have explained that it will be unable to file its audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2019, within the regulatory due date of 30 March 2020.

It made this revelation in a notice filed to the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Explaining the reason for the delay, the hospital firm said it was currently implementing an Enterprise Resource Planning Software which has affected its ability to conclude on the audit process of the 2019 financials.

It, however, promised to release its financials on or before 31st May 2020 and apologized for the inconvenience the delay may have caused.

"The Company regrets its inability to file these accounts within the time prescribed by the Rules of The Exchange on Filing of Accounts and as directed by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

"This delay is because the Company is currently implementing an Enterprise Resource Planning Software which has affected its ability to conclude on the audit process of the 2019 AFS.

"Union Diagnostic envisages that its 2019 AFS will be released no later than 31 May 2020. To this end, the Company sincerely apologizes for any inconveniences this delay might cause," the statement read in part.
