Jobberman Jobberman

The most sought after skills in Nigeria's labour force are Sales, Marketing and Software development, according to Jobberman, Nigeria's number 1 recruitment platform.

This was revealed by its CEO, Hilda Kabushenga Kragha in a Tweet chat with Mediapreneur, Japheth Omojuwa.

The stats were according to the analytics observed in the past month, Kragha added.

Kragha lamented the difficulty for young people to find meaningful employment.

"It's become harder for young people to find dignified work. Unemployment rate stands at 23.1% from 5% in 2010. On top of that, most jobs aren't filled transparently. So even before COVID. A young person had to hustle to find work," she stated.

She also disagreed with the word, "unemployable people."

"Unemployable people is probably my least favourite word. It assumes education is perfect, job creation is perfect etc but that's not true," the Jobberman boss explained.
