Multichoice raises alarm as individual who visited branch tests positive for COVID-19

Multichoice has called on members of the public who visited one of their branches in Ibadan to self-isolate after a positive case was in the building.

In a notice obtained by MyNigeria.com, the operator of DStv Satellite Television service amongst others said that the individual is currently receiving treatment.

The company thereby urged every those who have been at the branch between 27 June and 11 July 2020 to self-isolate and contact the Nigeria Center for Disease for Control.

"We recently discovered that an individual who was at our branch at 14, Onireke Street, Jericho, Ibadan, Oyo State, has tested positive to Covid-19.
This person is now receiving medical care.

"If you visited the branch in the past two weeks between 27 June and 11 July 2020, you may have been in contact with this individual, and likely exposed.

"We request that you kindly self isolate and contact NCDC for advice," the statement read.
