Konga kicks off 2026 with discounts, free delivery

Konga is offering customers discounts across multiple product categories, including a 25 per cent price cut on Starlink internet kits alongside free nationwide delivery, as Nigeria’s composite e-commerce platform launched its first shopping campaign of 2026.

The campaign, tagged Konga Jara, is designed to help shoppers turn new year aspirations into practical outcomes through value-driven deals, while reinforcing the company’s focus on customer-centric innovation and accessible technology for Nigerians nationwide.

The disclosure was made in a statement by Konga, which explained that the Konga Jara campaign takes its name from the popular Nigerian term “jara”, meaning the extra portion traditionally added by traders, reflecting the platform’s commitment to delivering more value for every naira spent.

As part of the campaign, Konga is spotlighting Starlink to address the growing demand for reliable internet connectivity, which it said has become essential for work, education, entrepreneurship and everyday communication in a digital-first economy. By making Starlink kits more affordable and easier to access, the company said it is responding to a critical need faced by households and businesses across the country.

Customers seeking to benefit from the Starlink discount are required to meet specific activation and verification conditions. After purchase, customers must activate their kits via Starlink’s official activation platform and submit their activation details by email to Konga for verification. The activation date and time must match Starlink’s system records before any rebate is validated, with all offers subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Commenting on the campaign, the Head of Commercial Planning at Konga, Onochie Melvin, said the company deliberately focused on connectivity after listening to customers’ priorities for the new year.

“Reliable internet connectivity emerged as the foundation upon which other aspirations depend. Students need it for online learning, entrepreneurs need it to scale digital businesses, and professionals rely on it for remote work,” he said, adding that the Starlink offer was aimed at removing barriers to participation in the digital economy.

Beyond connectivity, Konga said the Konga Jara campaign provides shoppers with access to genuine products sourced directly from original equipment manufacturers, supported by trusted warranties and transparent pricing. The company said its partnerships with global brands ensure that discounted prices do not compromise product quality or authenticity.

Konga also highlighted its integrated e-commerce ecosystem, which combines shopping, secure payments and nationwide logistics into a single platform designed to simplify the customer experience from product discovery to delivery.

The company encouraged shoppers to follow its official social media channels for additional time-sensitive deals and bundle offers from other verticals within the Konga Group throughout the campaign period.
