Ichaba steps down from Cornerstone Insurance Board

Dominic Ichaba's tenure has expired as Non-Executive Director of Cornerstone Insurance effective from March 31, 2020.

According to a notice filed by the Insurance firm to the Nigerian Bourse, Ichaba's decision to step down is in tandem with Section 5.04(vii) of the Code of Corporate Governance for the Insurance Industry in Nigeria by the National Insurance Commission that says "no Non-Executive Director of an Insurance Company shall be re-nominated and appointed for more than three terms of three years each."

The Director's replacement would be announced much later, the company noted.
