Fire destroys specialist hospital store in Adamawa

A fire outbreak has destroyed a store that contains mattresses, hospital beds and other items at a Specialist Hospital in Yola, the Adamawa State capital.

Reports indicate that the incident started in the early hours of Monday, June 28, 2021, as some sources said they noticed a deep smoke from the direction of the hospital.

They then rushed to the area only to see that the building was already ablaze.

In spite of the fact that firefighters were quickly contacted, all efforts to save the building were unsuccessful as nothing could be recovered from the building.
