Femi Fani-Kayode advises Nigerians on what to do as lockdown gets extended

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has urged Nigerians to help the weak and vulnerable as the lockdown period in certain states in Nigeria gets extended.

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), announced the extension of the lockdown period by another 14 days to help curb the spread of COVID-19.

The President made the announcement in a nationwide broadcast exactly at the end of the first 14 days lockdown period he declared.

Reacting to the development, Femi Fani-Kayode encouraged Nigerians not to fear during the priod.

He wrote, “Another 14 days? Fear not, be strong, hold the line, be of good courage, stand firm and trust the Lord!

“Help the weak, the vulnerable, the needy, those that are suffering and those that are in need and never forget that sooner or later this plague shall pass and we shall be free again.”
