The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has issued a travel advisory on how to deal with the deadly coronavirus.

This was contained in a tweet where the regulator explained to air travelers what they should do while arriving the nation's airports.

"When you leave the airport, wash your hands, do this for at least 20 seconds with soap and rinse for at least 10 seconds with water, taking care to not forget your nail beds, under your fingernails, and in between your fingers.

"If you are coming from affected locations, kindly cooperate with airport officials as they carry out all precautionary measures. Remain calm and submit yourself for all tests," the advisory read.

So far, coronavirus has been responsible for the death of more than 3,000 people. FAAN is issuing this advisory three months after the first case of coronavirus was first discovered on December 31st, 2019.
