Ekocorp appoints new Secretary

Joyce Modilim has been appointed the acting Company Secretary/Legal Adviser of Ekocorp Plc.

According to a notice filed by the firm to the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the appointment is effective March 24, 2020.

Modilim takes over from Happiness Iheukwumere, the former Company Secretary of the firm.

Joyce Modilim obtained her first degree in Law (LLB) from Enugu State University, following which she was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2004. She subsequently obtained her Masters degree in Law (LLM) from the University of Lagos.

She is a qualified member of many professional bodies, such as the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA, UK), Associate, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) UK; Fellow, Chartered Institute of Public Administrators, England and Wales; Associate, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), in addition to being a qualified Human Resources Professional, International (PHRI).
