The Minister of State for Mining and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Oga has described Nigeria's business magnate, Aliko Dangote as the dream of President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari's administration.

He made this statement during a visit to the billionaire's cement factory at Obajana in Kogi state.

Ogar said the Government was ready to give Dangote support to diversify the economy, noting that Dangote's intentions and the Government's ideas are one and the same.

"Aliko Dangote represents the dream of this administration in the diversification strategy of the economy. We are ready to approve more lines in Obajana to create more jobs and lift Nigerians from poverty trap," he said.

Dangote is on the verge of completing an integrated refinery and petrochemical complex in the Lekki Free Zone near Lagos, Nigeria. The refinery is expected to be the world’s biggest single-train facility, upon commissioning in 2021.

Estimated to cost $18bn, the refinery will produce Euro-V quality gasoline and diesel, as well as jet fuel and polypropylene. The project is expected to generate 4,000 direct and 145,000 indirect jobs.
