Dangote donates 17 boreholes to Kogi communities

Dangote Cement Plc has donated 17 boreholes to the communities hosting its Obajana Plant in Kogi State.

According to a statement from the company, six boreholes were drilled in Obajana, five in Oyo, two in Iwaa and three in Apata.

The General Manager of Community Affairs/Special Duties at Dangote Cement, Ademola Adeyemi, said the water projects were implemented to address the water needs of the communities.

He noted that the projects were executed under the company’s corporate social responsibility.

Adeyemi said the firm had a robust relationship with its host communities.

It added that Dangote Cement recently supplied additional medical equipment to a clinic in Iwaa community, built by the company under the Community Development Agreement.
