The Super Eagles of Nigeria have started preparations for the upcoming international friendly match with the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

19 of the players invited for the battle are already in Austria camp.

The early arrivals are Maduka Okoye, Francis Uzoho, William Troost-Ekong, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Chidozie Awaziem, Jamilu Collins, Ayodele Marcus, Terem Moffi, Peter Olayinka, and Samson Tijani.

The likes of Oghenekaro Etebo, Valentine Ozonwafor, Anayo Iwuala, and Shehu Abdullahi joined camp Monday afternoon.

The team held their first training session this afternoon under the watchful eyes of the head coach Gernot Rohr and his assistants.

Meanwhile, the friendly match has been overshadowed by the news of over two years of unpaid match bonuses to the players and coaches.

Reports claimed some of the players are unhappy with Nigeria Football Federation and are considering boycotting the match.

The Super Eagles are yet to be paid bonuses of 2022 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, while Coach Gernot Rohr is said to be owed seven months salary.
