Juan Brandariz doubled the lead for Almeria in the 27th minute as he tucked in a cross from Jose Lazo.

Sadiq had the chance to make it 3-0 after Almeria were awarded a penalty, but he agonisingly missed the spot.

Logrones gave them a lifeline as Leonardo Ruiz halved the lead with a superb finish with 20 minutes left to play in the match.

Almeria, however, held on to their lead for a nervy win and secured a place in the promotion playoff.
