Osimhen helps Napoli claim win at Roma, boost top-four hopes

Victor Osimhen was in action for in-form Napoli who defeated Roma 2-0 away to give their top-four ambitions a big boost, Completesports.com reports.

Osimhen, who was named among Napoli’s substitutes, came in for two-goal hero Dries Mertens in the 66th minute.

He has scored three goals in 13 Serie A appearances so far in this campaign.

Mertens opened scoring for Napoli in the 27th minute before adding the second on 34 minutes.

Napoli remains in the fifth position on 53 points and are just two points behind fourth-placed side Atalanta.

They have now won their last three games and are unbeaten in seven straight fixtures  (six wins, one draw).
