Super Eagles striker, Olayinka Peters was on target for Slavia Prague as they beat Glasgow Rangers 2-0 at Ibrox to qualify for the quarter-final of the Europa League on Thursday.

Despite a 1-1 draw in the first leg, a 2-0 win in the second leg was enough to secure a 1-3 aggregate victory for Slavia Prague.

Olayinka put Slavia Prague in front in the 14th minute after heading in skipper Jan Boril’s cross.

The Gers were later reduced to ten men as substitute Kemar Roofe was given his marching orders for a serious foul play against Slavia goalkeeper Ondrej Kolar in the 62nd minute, according to Brila.net.

Things went from bad to worse for Rangers as Leon Balogun was sent off in the 73rd minutes after picking up his second yellow card of the game.

The visitors doubled their advantage through Nicolae Stanciu a minute later.

Jindrich Trpisovsky’s side proceeds to the last eight and are the first team to defeat Rangers at home in just over a year.
