Kamaru Usman will face Leon Edwards in a rematch for the UFC Welterweight Championship in March according to Usman's manager Ali Abdelaziz.

Edwards became just the second-ever British fighter to lift UFC gold when he dramatically dethroned the 'Nigerian Nightmare' back in August.

A trilogy bout between the pair has been slated for the UFC's first British pay-per-view offering since 2016, at UFC 286 on the 18th of March.

The pair first met in 2015, with Usman getting the nod on the judges' scorecards. Last year, Edwards claimed victory by knocking out the long-reigning champ at UFC 278
