JUST IN: Champions League quarter, semi-final draw revealed

UEFA has released the draws for the quarter and semifinals of the 2019/20 Champions League on Friday.

Recall that the UCL was suspended in March in order to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

With football actions restarted across the major leagues in the world, Uefa has passed the most-prestigious European competition to restart next month.

Before the quarterfinals begin, Manchester City will face Real Madrid (City lead 2-1 on aggregate), Lyon who won their first-leg tie against Juventus by 1-0 will go to Turin, for the second-leg of their Round of 16 ties.

The winners of both ties will face each other in the quarter-finals.

Napoli will also slug it out with Barcelona after playing 1-1 draw in Italy while Chelsea will travel to the Allianz Arena to face Bayern Munich (who thumped the Blues 3-0 at the Stamford Bridge) in their respective R16 second-leg ties.
