'I don’t want to lose Maduka' – Sparta Rotterdam coach

Henk Fraser, coach of Sparta Rotterdam has said he will rely on the form of Super Eagles shotstopper, Maduka Okoye in the upcoming league season.

Okoye has been linked with some top European sides with Ajax Amsterdam and Real Betis showing interest.

His 10 clean sheet from 28 games in the just ended season puts him in pole position to maintain his place between the sticks at Sparta Rotterdam.

He was also adjudged the clubs most valuable player of the season.

In an exclusive chat with Voetbalprimeur, Fraser admitted that Maduka’s impressive form drew the attention of top European club, but he want to keep the German born shot stopper.

“I don’t want to lose Maduka, not even for ten million euros,” said his coach Henk Fraser

He stressed that Maduka is happy to continue at the club, but admitted that the possibility of an exit cannot be completely rule out considering his level of performances.
