Former President of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA), Domini Oneya is dead.

He is reported to have passed on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at his Effurun GRA residence.

The 73-year-old hails from Agbarho community, in the Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

He served as military Governor of Kano State from 1996 to 1998.

He also served as military governor of Benue State during the reign of Abdulsalami Abubakar between 1998 and 1999.

He was born on May 26, 1948.
