Whyte fears Joshua vs Tyson fight could be boring

British professional boxer, Dilian Whyte opines the highly anticipated bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury will fail to live to its billing.

The Brits will face each other this summer with all four major heavyweight belts on the line.

The mega-fight to determine the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world is expected to take place in Saudi Arabia in June or July, with a rematch likely to take place at the end of the year, Complete Sports said.

Joshua and Fury’s clash is widely considered to be the biggest in British boxing history – but former WBC interim champion Whyte admits it could be “really boring”.

“In my opinion it’s a 50/50 fight because they have a lot of similarities and they can both adapt and modify their styles depending on their opponent, so it’s very difficult to say who will win,” he told BBC Sport .

“It could be really exciting or it could be really boring where they try to be too technical and one is waiting for the other. I can’t wait though.”
