Former Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo and his club side, Al Shabab fell to defeat rivals Al Ittihad in the Saudi Premier League on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.

Saudi Arabia national team striker Abdulrahman Al-Aboud scored the first goal of the game for the home side after twelve minutes of play, Brila.net said.

With two minutes remaining in the first half, Brazilian star Sebastião de Freitas Couto Júnior restored parity for the visitors.

The defeat was inconsequential as Al Shabab are still on top of the table with 45 points from 23 matches, while Al-Ittihad remain third with 41 points.
