Leon Bailey is set to iron out his future with Bayer Leverkusen this week amid interests from Manchester United and Manchester City, The Athletic reports.

Both Manchester clubs are interested in the 22-year-old, though neither sees him as a first-choice target.

United shifted attention to Bailey as a possible second choice should the move for Jadon Sancho fall through.

City, on the other hand, will be looking to fill the void of Leroy Sane who recently left the club for German champions, Bayern Munich, after rejecting a new contract offer with Pep Guardiola's men.

Leverkusen are open to letting Bailey leave and will meet with the player this week to determine an acceptable valuation and plan his exit strategy.

The Bundesliga club planned to set a €50million asking price before the coronavirus pandemic, but will now settle for between €20-30million.
