Meet the Nigerian who co-produced Toni Baxton's 'Spell My Name' album

Nigeria music producer and songwriter, Dapo Torimiro has disclosed that he played a role in the production of Tony Braxton's recently released album, "Spell My Name".

According to Torimiro, he co-produced the album and co-wrote the song, "Nothin'"on the album. He further added that he has been privileged to work with other talented and skilled musicians, BabyFace and Kam Parker.

In an Instagram post, the music producer said that he also got the opportunity to play live bass while hailing the skill of Babyface with the guitar during production.

"Toni Braxton’s new album “Spell My Name” comes out today!! I got the opportunity to co-write and produce the song, “Nothin’”. On the writing side, I co-wrote with BabyFace and Kam Parker. On production, I produced with BabyFace and Toni herself. I also got to play some live bass!

"PS BabyFace played some incredible guitar on this!," he posted on Instagram.

The album, which features other American heavy weights, Missy Elliott and singer H.E.R is Broxton's tenth since her debut studio album was released on July 13, 1993, by LaFace Records and Arista Records.

"Here we go! One more sleep and Spell My Name arrives! Thank you to all my Tigerz for your love and support," Toni Braxton wrote on Instagram, the night before the album release.
