Twitter verifies Naira Marley in 19 hours after getting three-day ultimatum from the singer

Microblogging platform, Twitter has verified the account of Nigerian singer, Naira Marley in less than 24 hours after he gave them three days to give him the famous blue tick.

Sharing receipts of the accomplishment, the "Opotoyi" crooner took to Twitter to announce that the social media platform verified him exactly 19 hours after he posted the tweet.

While the singer would like to attribute the victory to himself, his cult following of followers could not be taken out of this remarkable achievement.

The initial tweet where he ordered Twitter to grant him verification was retweeted 1,600 times with close 15,000 likes. Needless to say his 691,000 fan base won him this victory.

The singer who recently dropped his L.O.L EP has had serious issues with his Twitter account over the past few weeks.

Earlier it began with a hack from someone who posted intelligible words, according to MyNigeria.com. Afterwards, he recovered it and when he just thought he had come back from that account loss scare, he gets another hack- this time deadlier than the first.

In a viral video, he explained the hurdles of getting his original account and how he had to hack the hacker, as well as protect his account from any other future occurrence.

Now, he is back with a bang and the blue tick. How long would it last?
