Gospel singer Tope Alabi has responded to naysayers who criticised her for dancing in an unbefitting manner according to them.

Speaking about the incident on TVC's Wake Up Nigeria program, the gospel artiste said she needed to wind down from just burying her dad. She also added that she was praising God in the process.

"I needed that dance and it was at my father's burial. The praise was organised by my gospel artiste friends to worship God after the wake keep. I need to worship God. I just need to. It is not easy to bury your father. Some people died before their father died," the singer said.

Recall that the famous Gospel Singer, Tope Alabi was caught on camera dancing gbese at her Dad's funeral.

The film music composer and actress was pictured in an all-white Versace attire and sneakers eliciting scenes from Burna Boy's Killing Dem as she danced to the song played by the live band.

Several fans expressed their displeasure with the dance steps.
