Fast-rising music act, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, also known as Peruzzi is trending for the wrong reasons.

He was called out by his former boss and CEO of GoldenBoy Entertainment, King Patrick for disregarding his contract and going on to join Davido's record label, Davido Music Worldwide.

Apparently, Peruzzi had been legally signed to GoldenBoy since November 18, 2016. The singer whose hit single "For Your Pocket" brought him to limelight was lured to DMW by Davido.

Angered by Peruzzi's move, Patrick filed a suit against the Amaka crooner to restrain him from performing, recording new songs or even featuring in songs of other artists.

The 2018 court injunction obtained from Vanguard read, “GoldenBoy Entertainment has commenced legal proceedings against Peruzzi in suit Suit No: LD2902GCM/2018 at the High Court of Lagos State."

The suit revealed that GoldenBoy made no amount in royalties or intellectual property rights from works written and executed by Peruzzi ever since he signed him.

Since 2018 till date, the court case has been frustrated and Patrick decided its time to come to Twitter.

Determining not to go down without a fight, Patrick has taken to Twitter to ask DMW to pay him the royalties accrued to Peruzzi's works- written, produced, co-produced and performed since the inception of his 2016 agreement with GoldenBoy. It's a money battle now.

Giving details of his long-standing line of entitlements and obligations to Peruzzi, Patrick noted that he and the singer crossed paths in 2014 when he was out of med school due to financial problems.

He explained that he nursed him and helped finalize his education

"I did everything in my power to help him go back to school. I paid for his ticket and visa, he was like a brother to me."

Sadly, Peruzzi was more concerned with music flooding his education investment down the drain. Nonetheless, the love of a brother made Patrick invest in Peruzzi and provide basic amenities for his promising career.

He revealed that he kept his promise to Peruzzi by signing him in November 2016.

Davido came into the picture after Peruzzi benefitted a lot from Patrick including a 5 bedroom flat in Sangotedo. He shot 3 videos for Peruzzi but "For Your Pocket," was the Davido charmer.

Surprisingly, Peruzzi's "For Your Pocket" visuals still bear GoldenBoy's logo, with 249,681 views to its name since its July 16, 2017 release date.

After the Davido's exposure, Peruzzi ran off with Davido and abandoned his contract.

The scenario got only worse after Peruzzi and Davido performed. Peruzzi moved on to greener pastures leaving his former manager in the dark. He never even presented the contract to Patrick.

After the relationship between Peruzzi and GoldenBoy fell apart, Patrick resorted to getting a chunk out of his investment. An entitlement he believes is due to him.

Patrick revealed he had been battered over the matter as well.

He revealed evidence of himself being threatened by Peruzzi in a fake meeting.

Twitter has now become the hub of justice with no hope of a turnaround.

Patrick also pointed out that Peruzzi was audio-signed by Davido without any formal evidence. While it suggests Davido could be fooling Peruzzi or tricking him; it also means we don't know who is actually receiving all Peruzzi's royalties and juicy deals.

Users were of course divided on Twitter.

They argued over morality

James thought Patrick was jobless.
