Di'Ja reaffirms belief in African continent amidst coronavirus scare

Nigerian singer, Hadiza Blell, better known by her stage name Di'Ja has reaffirmed her belief in the African continent, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.

She made this declaration in a tweet which she shared on the microblogging platform, this evening.

The tweet reveals more details about the singer as her Sierra Leonean background is thrown out in the open.

The tweet read:

"I believe in the whole African continent. I believe in Nigeria my Motherland, I believe in Sierra Leone my Fatherland. I believe, I believe I believe and I refuse to lose hope, regardless of what it looks like. I refuse to believe this is it. In shaa Allah we will get it right."



Recently, the "awww" crooner revealed that she took 3 years off to nurse her children before planning a comeback to music.

The MAVINS act added actress to one of her titles as she expressed that she will be starring in her first movie role as a lead actor.

The songwriter was contracted to play Madina in Mati a Zazzau, MyNigeria.com reported.

Meanwhile, the confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Africa is over 100.

Born to a Sierra Leonean father and a northern Nigerian mother, Di'ja is a Nigerian-Sierra Leonean. She was born on the 14th of August in Kaduna. Before her family finally settled down in Nigeria, Di'ja also lived in Sierra Leone, the United States, and Canada.
