Popular host, Frank Edoho, On-air-personality, Do2dtun, J.J Omojuwa and others have reacted to the death of veteran Nigerian radio presenter, Dan Foster.

MyNigeria.com reported earlier that the former Cool FM presenter passed away as a result of COVID-19 related complications.

He was said to have passed away at the Yaba Isolation Centre, Lagos on Wednesday afternoon.

His former employer, Cool Fm tweeted, "Thank you @DANFOSTERRADIO you are forever in our hearts. You are missed greatly. This cuts deep, this cuts really deep."

Do2dtun tweeted: "Oh Dan Foster... you gave me the strength to do this and even more. This is really painful Persevering."

J.J Omojuwa also tweeted, "Dan Foster’s voice was a huge part of my growing up. His voice on Cool FM. His playfulness. His kindness. Long before I saw what he looked like, his voice communicated his personality in a way no picture needed to. This one is one loss too many. This is a really sad day.

"In his prime, I am sure even the second-best morning OAP listened to Dan Foster during their own show."

Osi Suave, @Osi_Suave also commented: "Dan Foster was amazing on the radio, I listened to him as a kid and it was surreal when we worked together as colleagues. This one cuts deep! Rest in peace big Dawg!"

Frank Edoho also took to Twitter to confirm the death. He said, "I just got off the phone, my friend Oscar confirmed that Dan Foster has passed on. This is a very very dark year. How can I overcome this unending melancholy? Rest in Peace, dear Friend."
