Baba Ijesha to be arraigned in court today

Embattled actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka popularly known as Baba Ijesha, will be arraigned at the Magistrate Court 1, Yaba, today June 16, by 9am.

This follows his arrest in April for allegedly defiling the foster daughter of actress and comedienne, Princess.

He was, however, granted bail by a magistrate on health grounds, after being detained at the SCID Panti Yaba facility for about 30 days.

With a letter addressed to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, his lawyer, Ogunlana had sought bail for Baba Ijesha on health grounds, saying the actor looked abnormally weak and lean.
