2Baba finally writes tribute to his late friend, Sound Sultan

Legendary musician, Innocent Idibia, also known as 2baba, has finally paid his tribute to the late Sound Sultan, his best friend and colleague.

Sound Sultan was announced dead on July 11th, after a battle with cancer.

His death came as an absolute shock as his fans all over the world expressed their sadness at his demise.

The veteran musician on July 13th wrote an emotional tribute to his late friend on his official Instagram page.

He shared a photo of Sound Sultan smiling for the camera from years ago.

According to 2baba, it was entirely difficult for him to accept the loss of his friend.

"Couldn't bring myself to do this but what can we do. Rest well. Till we meet again my dear friend and brother. Still so unreal. Will never stop celebrating u. I promise u your fam will be safe and good. #GRATEFUL for u and the blessings that u represented in my life," he wrote.
