South African dies in mud rush accident

Reports claim that at least one person has been killed at gold miner Harmony Gold’s Tshepong mine, in Welkom, South Africa,

The accident happened over the weekend, following a mud-rush-related incident at the mine, the report added.

Miningweekly revealed that an investigation is currently underway and details of the incident are expected to be released afterwards.

The deceased's identity has not yet been released to the general public.
