Popular Cameroonian cross dresser, two others sentenced to prison for practicing homosexuality

A popular Cameroonian cross dresser known as Shakiro and two homosexuals have been sentenced to prison.

According to Cameroon News Agency, a court in Ndokotti Douala on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, found them guilty of practicing homosexuality which is a crime in Cameroon.

The suspected homosexuals were sent to the New Bell Central Prison in Douala.

It was gathered that Shakiro had been arrested several times and released.
