Ghanaian actress convicted for taking nude photos with son; sentencing set for Friday

Ghanaian actress and video vixen, Rosemond Brown who is also known as Akuapem Polo has been convicted by an Accra Circuit Court presided over by Mrs. Christianna Cann for posting obscene photos of herself and her seven-year-old son on social media in June last year.

She comes after she pleaded guilty in court on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, for the incident that raised an uproar in Ghana.

The court deferred her sentence to Friday, April 16, 2021, and she was remanded in custody.

This is to enable her to undergo a pregnancy test in compliance with the law regarding a woman who has pleaded guilty in court, Citinewsroom reports.

She pleaded not guilty to the charges in November last year when she was arraigned but she changed her plea to guilty on all three counts.

Rosemond was charged with publication of obscene material, and two counts of engaging in domestic violence, a Citinewsroom report stated.
